The model uses the more common 1157 type brake light bulb. This bulb is found in most American and Metric motorcycles as well as snowmobiles and off road two wheelers with brake systems. It is the type with a metal bayonet base that rotates into its socket after the tail light lens is removed. The LED array is applied with double faced tape to the helmet after peeling off the release paper. Instructions indicate the correct location. Ten minutes is all that is needed.
